30 Days to a Stronger Culture in PARLYM

How an Activy challenge connected dispersed teams across France? PARLYM launched Activy to integrate teams spread across France and to activate an emerging health and wellbeing strategy under a new Wellbeing Manager. The objective was to spark cross-team connection while nudging everyday healthy habits.

This was the first Activy edition at PARLYM, designed as a short, high-energy challenge to test fit, learn preferences, and build a baseline for future KPI-driven wellbeing programs.

Success internally was tracked informally by number of active users and how much they talked about it, which made an app-based social experience especially relevant for a geographically dispersed company.

There was also interest in charity-flavored engagement, noted by the coordinator as an important theme for employees, even if KPIs for wellbeing itself were not yet formalized in year one.

Challenge Execution

  • Internal launch and comms: Company-wide mailings and on-site screens in canteens and locations promoted the challenge. PARLYM used Activy’s promotional materials with custom design and communication.
  • Core experience: Multi-activity tracking with a vibrant social feed that encouraged sharing, recognition, and light competition across agencies.
  • Coordinator tools: The dashboard with data on coordinator platform was used to monitor engagement and proved “very helpful” for quick insights.
  • Events: Company used “events” feature to promote sports integrations and classes around France.

Business Impact & Results

  • 78% reported improved overall health or feeling more energized. Short duration likely capped impact ceilings, but results already exceeded the provided benchmark reference.
  • 13% perceived fewer sick or absence days. This was positioned as an early ROI indicator with potential to scale in longer formats.
  • 74% felt more integrated with their team, validating the social feed’s ability to bridge distance between agencies.
  • 100% of survey respondents expressed willingness to participate again next year, a strong indicator of perceived value and cultural fit.
“What I really liked is that it is like social media, so people can share and interact through the app and this is a really good point.” - Challenge Coordinator
“The challenge made me exercise at least 10-15 minutes a day.” - Challenge Paricipant
“Seeing other's performance boosted me to register more activities, and finally gave me an idea of how "good/bad" I was in a sport”  - Challenge Paricipant

Final Reflection

PARLYM proved that a one-month, social-first challenge can create meaningful health and integration gains across dispersed teams. The app’s social feed turned everyday activity into a shared story, while employees spontaneously created their own teams - a bottom-up dynamic that boosted engagement without extra coordination overhead. With access to all Activy disciplines - over 70 in total - everyone could choose a form of movement that fit their ability and context, making participation genuinely inclusive and encouraging people to be active more often.
